Just think of how much metal and energy could be saved if they got rid of that 9/10 bullshit. $2.99 gas, whoopee, folks, it's still under $3. whoopee, I think not.
Egad. Keep those tanks topped off folks, while the gettin's good. I remember friends and family paying me, back in the 70s, to pick up their cars and sit on gas lines all day long just to get the alloted $5 limit. That five dollars nowadays would probably translate to $15 dollars worth, maybe even more, but I don't look forward to going through that mess again. We had odd and even number license plate days, etc. Talk about hostile drivers waiting in line. Cripes I hope it doesn't come to that again, but I have a feeling ...

Just passing through, I'm liking the blog by the way.
Lmao! Do you suppose, if gas hits $5.00/gallon all at once, that the nation will go into a full on economic depression? Freaking oil barons.
