Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!

You'd think I'd learn.

Last night, the St. Louis Cardinals hosted the Houston Astros, and the game was tied 2-2 after 9 innings... just some GREAT baseball. I watched until the top of the 13th inning, when Houston scored a run to break the tie and set them up for the win. It was after midnight.

So I turned off the television.

And missed an Albert Pujols walk-off homer in the bottom of the 13th inning to score 2 runs and win the game.

You'd think I'd learn.

My Dad is a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. When I was little, I used to visit my grandparents in St. Louis every year for Christmas. I haven't been there in a long time. It's cool to see that is where you are from. Oh yeah, you have a good voice, heard your demos.

The way the Cards play it is hard to fathom how they lost 4 straight to the Red Sox last year. Won't happen this year, though.

Ed's a hard-core Cards fan. Last time he was in St. Louis he got me a t-shirt (which I wear proudly, just not when I'm visiting family and friends back home) :)

About the game ... doncha hate when that happens?

Looking at that picture has inspired me to buy an electronic pet toy and name it Songuchi.
