Ivory tickling

Everyone has at least one song they can play on the piano.

Even if you've never had lessons or can't read music, there is a song you can play on the piano. Nobody is exempt from this rule.

I've had one lesson, at the approximate age of 10... I learned to play the C-scale. Yet, I can play the SHIT out of Satin Doll.

Most people can play Heart and Soul. If you don't know what song I'm referring to, just go to the keyboard section of The Wal Marts. You'll hear it.

Which song can you play on the piano?

My repetoire consists of "Heart and Soul," of course (I learned from the movie Big with Tom Hanks) and "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, which I taught myself while on a family vacation for Thanksgiving one year. We never had a piano at my house, but anytime I was/am within sight of one, I am plunking away.

If I work really hard at it, I can play "Starkle, Starkle, Little Twink".

I can play chopsticks, Mary had a little lamb etc. My mom made all of us take piano lessons, I hated every minute of it.

I can play "Kim's Concerto in the Key of P" with a jazz fusion psychodelic twist that makes it sound like a completely different song each time. What does it say about you that you can play "Satin Doll?"

I can play "For a clean so dramatic, steamaticize your home with Steamatic". One does what one must do.

By the way, I'm impressed with your Ellingtonian repertoire!

John Lennon's Imagine.

I hated taking lessons, so after I learned this song, I was pretty much done.

I can play "I Dropped My Dolly" and I used to be able to play the jingle for the Band-aid commercials- "I am stuck on Band-aid, cause Band-aid's stuck on me..." ;o)

I can honestly say "I don't think I have ONE song I can play on the piano". I am thinking this because I have NEVER tried. Can you believe that? I have played the guitar a few times (never any good...learned most of Stairway to Heaven, and that was the extent). Maybe I should try the piano sometime.
Maybe something like Mary Had a Little Lamb!

I can play mary had a little lamb. I've learned how to play the first part of the Star Wars theme when I was in the fifth grade as well. Miss Lilly is sitting hear next to me and she swears that she can play "Hear comes the birde all dressed in white." I didn't realize that my daughter could play the piano, it must be in my genes!:-) (hehe!)

I can play "I Dropped My Dolly" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb".

And that is only because Diana taught me how to play them when we were kids.
