The Kroc genius

In a cuisine world full of audacious, delectible and irresistible foods... there is still absolutely nothing like the taste of a fresh-from-the-fryer hot order of McDonalds french fries and a large, icy Coke.

The soda sold at McDonalds seems crisper and more carbonated. It tingles on the way down, causing an involuntary hiccup. And those fries...

Wow. Just sayin'.

I agree with the soda part, but I would rather have Arby's curly fries or Lions Choice fries anyday over MickeyD's

What is it about their fries? They are so damn good! I'm a fan of their cheeseburgers too, those are a comfort food for me.

I heard/read somewhere that McD's coke is specific just to them. I don't know if its a different formula or the ratio of carbonated water to syrup or what, but it does taste better at McD's.

As for their food, it all tastes great going in, but for me, after about 20 minutes, it's sitting on my stomach like a brick.

Make that a Diet Coke and I'll join you! (I hate the syrupy regular stuff!) I saw the McD's fries and pictured them hot and fresh and just HAD to comment. :)

I know, what *is* it with those things? I believe they use 75% fry oil, 25% liquid crack...
