Keith: I officially hate all niggers!I wonder what Keith thinks about Obama's white half.
Me: Dude, you're a fucking idiot. Don't ever text me again.
Keith: Whatever u say nigger lover. Peace out
Me: Burn those bridges dude. Light the flame. Just don't text me again.
It wasn't the first racist thing he'd texted me, but until last night, I ignored and deleted them. Keith is young and somewhat ambitious, but he was obviously raised in an atmosphere of racism. The sad thing is, he has a one-year-old daughter who, it seems, will be raised in similar circumstances.

I'm so with you....we got the same text....I just shook my head.
It's amazing that even in todays world there are still so may ignorant people out there....
I just don't get it. I've gotten some other texts from people I'm choosing to ignore those as well.
It's just really sad
I wonder how old Keith is. There was a poll out saying that race was really not an issue for my generation (the 18-25 demographic). In general, I would agree with that. I would say age was a much bigger issue for me. I liked that Obama seemed able to connect to my generation in a way that McCain simply could not.
I'll try to locate that poll, if I can
Comeback, Keith is in your age demographic. He's just a douche bag. (Violet's words) ;)

ok, so it's not the poll I was referring to, but it said in there race affected the decision of 19% of voters. It is based on the exit polls.
That is pretty douchebag-ery of him. On facebook last night, a girl's status said (unedited) "(girl's name) can't wait for her hard earned money to go to lazy niggers."
Facebook allows you to comment on the status, and it was rather reassuring to see that at least 10-15 people chastised her for the comments, including about 5 McCain supporters. I'm glad I don't have to live in a world overwhelmed with that attitude.
yeah, that would be pretty bad. I'd want to change my number so Keith can't text any more of that crap.......people like that are scary.....
i am 53 and i STILL dont understand WHY the color of some one's skin offends people. racism has probably always been around, and unfortunately may always be... but why... WHY?
are we not all human beings weather we are dressed in orange, blue, yellow or green? i think some people hate just for the fact of having something to hate. it's so unfortunate. i will NEVER understand it, never. if we were all the same color, life would be boring. poor little keith's daughter will have her mind poisoned by her own father. but hey, that's much more acceptable than being taught to love thy neighbor, right? people like him MAKE ME SICK.
I'm sad to say that race probably was a large factor in the choices made by a couple of my aunts and one of sisters. I simply don't understand, especially in the case of my sister. My parents aren't racist. My other sister and my brothers aren't either. I don't know where or how she developed her mindset. :(
I have a "friend" on myspace that is pretty much similar to this Keith guy. He has sent out a couple of bulletins in the past day showing his hatred for Obama and his racist attitude. Makes me sad because I always felt Brian was a pretty decent guy.
Max...
As Aurora Greenway said in "The Evening Star" (1996)"I do not understand hatred as a sport. How does one win?"
I arrived here from google, looking for informations about a webcam. But now I'm reading your posts and I'm happy to find this kind of words.
Just few hours ago I was complaining about racism in my country (in Europe).
:)
