Mini Sabbatical

I have a stress-filled week. Deadlines, work, family, medical issues, personal issues... all on my mind right now. These issues have temporarily removed the fun, and I am left with what remains.

I have no time to blog at the moment, so I will leave this simple message to let you know I am here and okay. When I am in the right mindset again, I will be back. It shouldn't be long, I have a big mouth and lots of things to say.

Just not right now.

so... uhmmm...

i'm at a loss... reading your blog was the equivalent of climbing up the mountain and asking the guru about the meaning of life...

how will we get by in your absence?

(does this have anything to do with the fact that all of a sudden Mike is back blogging? can't you boys work out your differences?)

I've never known you to be at a loss for words for very long.

Looking forward to your return.

I just stumbled across your blog. I think it's quite possible that I'm in love you. And you're leaving us? Please don't stay away for long.
Try Ben & Jerry's...it fixes all stress-related problems.

Dave, I have been stumbling, too but that's another story. Let me know if ya need a hug or sumthin. The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I know how you feel...sometimes I have so much to blog about but so many other things on my plate that I can't even get the thought straight in my head. I end up making up a list of things I want to blog about so I don't forget while I am dealing with other stuff.

Hope things straighten out soon and we see you back here quickly.

I'll be here when you get back. Nice test pattern.

I've got beer suds awaiting your return from your (hopefully) brief sabbatical.

You're pic reminds me of a Ouiji board... I'm just sayin.

BTW, aren't sabbaticals for teachers?

Hope everything is all right. I have thought about you a lot lately.
I am sort of feeling the same right now...with most of those same reasons.
Take care Dave!

I got it: You have reincarnated as a test pattern. Right?

Hmmm? Dropping out for a while?

I bet you're really a secret agent.

Uh-oh.

I fear I said too much?

Trust me, Lee Ann: You can't be feeling the same as Dave for the same reasons. He just needed a couple days to get the 'ol hemorrhoids stitched...

I hear you on the joy of juggling blogging with the stressors that occur in daily life. Hope you come back soon.

I fear that so many of your young, savvy blogger friends will not understand the test pattern. Though I do. But I am neither young nor hip.

I understand the test pattern. I even know why it looks the way it does (except for why they used an indian, that part seems to be somewhat of a mystery). You don't see that one much anymore, it's not PC.

I admit - I didn't understand the test pattern until you explained it to me. I thought it was some sort of dream catcher thingy.

Imagine... there was once a time when TV stations actually went off the air in the wee hours! That's probably illegal now.
