Dave's Friday Photo
It's great to be a kid and have a fort or treehouse that's all yours. A place to build, defend and just... be. This was the sign marking my kids' fort, St. Mutfort Kassil.
Ever since I first saw a tree/club house on the Little Rascals, I always wanted one. Then my richer-than-sin, Long Island cousins had one custom built in their yard. First time I went inside it, there was a big spider. They really should have showed big spiders in the club house on Little Rascals. I wasted many years of dreams.
Our tree house growing was awesome...it was sad day in the Johnson household when we had to move. Man, the things we did in there....brings back alot of memories.

I would totally sit in there, eat tomato sandwiches, and read Little House on the Prairie.
hehehe Looks like fun to me. We used to come up with some crazy things when we were kids... guess the things get crazier when you grow up LOL
We used to make those things, but we knew from reading King Arthur that it was spelled Sam Cassell.
